Midtown Partners
Midtown Partners, in collaboration with ELSEWORKS and Jina Daniels, is dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership in the Midtown neighborhood. This initiative focuses on assessing vacant lots and developing strategic plans for residential development to revitalize the community.
This semester, the team is conducting a comprehensive audit of Midtown's vacant lots, evaluating their potential for homeownership opportunities. By analyzing property data, zoning regulations, and market conditions, the team aims to help create actionable strategies for sustainable residential growth. Additionally, the team continues to provide financial research and cost analysis to assist in securing funding and development resources for these efforts.
Last semester, this was The Recreational Art Garden Project, a collaboration between Midtown Partners and ELSEWORKS to drive sustainable development in the Midtown neighborhood. The team worked closely with Jina Daniels and Midtown Partners to research skate parks with integrated green infrastructure. Additionally, the team supported Jina by conducting financial research and cost analysis to aid in securing an EPA grant for the park's development, as well as continuing support for Benjamin Brown Park.
